With a passion for computers, computer hardware, software and accessories, Herbie Canasa began his business as a hobby, troubleshooting computers and providing general user assistance for friends and family, while simultaneously studying and working for Sinclair Knight Merz Engineering Consultants (SKM) as part of their IT Desktop Support Team. His obvious understanding of computers and the common and more unusual issues that users have with them was evident in his work, not only for SKM but also in work he performed for family and friends, who subsequently went on to suggest his services to their acquaintances. And so Canasa Computers was born.
